"Spirit, the breath of life; life, or the life principle, conceived as a kind of vapor animating the body, or, in man, mediating between body and soul." Webster's

At Mesa Farm we are certain that the most important thing in life is the process of growing spirit. As our spirits grow we become more conscious of our connections with all living things. Awareness regarding this connection is vital to a healthy and fulfilling  life experience.

I have had the great fortune to have crossed paths with two most influential individuals. I will always be deeply indebted to my first spiritual teacher. He took the time to patiently explain the attributes of spirit. He also introduced me to Thane Walker. Thane was a powerful teacher most capable of communicating the ancient knowledge regarding the growth of consciousness and spirit. Thane opened the door to my new world.

Thane had traveled the world in the  early 1900s searching for the spiritual masters. His travels and his life brought him into contact with many dynamic people. He spent some time in England and France studying with Gurdjieff and Gurdjieff's student, P.D. Ouspensky. Gurdjieff taught a system that came to be known as The Fourth Way.

It is not the objective of any true teacher or any true spiritual system to teach us what to think. It is the process of teaching us how to think that is most important. True systems and true teachers teach us passwords. These passwords have been handed down since the beginning of time. These passwords, when understood, offer us the opportunity to enter into a new way of living. This new way of living is based on our ability to think in ways that are not based on our ordinary and often times habitual thoughts. These new ways of thinking may allow us an opportunity to escape the suffering of the physical world.

As a result of the gift of knowledge Thane Walker presented, I am in the process of learning to think in new ways. As a result of this new thinking, my life offers wonderful opportunities. Life offers true hope, peace and joy.

A few years ago, as a winter exercise, I took time to write down the system of knowledge as I understood it. This system is Fourth Way in nature, and also reflects Thane's teaching, especially regarding esoteric Christianity. This system of passwords is a reflection of the internal process I use to gain entry into a heightened awareness regarding the multidimensional universe we live in. I would like to offer this exercise to anyone interested in reading it. (Please remember that any written work is static. It is a reflection of my state of mind at the time it was completed.  It is also a reflection of your state of mind as you take time to read it.)
